    Keep getting a message OFF(Fault: Tank Temperature Sensor)

    Hi, i have an installation with a tank sensor which gives me the message "Off, Saftey switch open"

    I get the same message as above "Off (Fault: Tank temperature sensor)
    What can I do ?

    Also getting off, safety switch open - any clues?

    When this happened on my system I moved the sensor up the tank towards the top approx 1/3 from the top
    the temperature probe can then see heat being put into the tank and does not shut down

    2002828Possible fault with the hot water tank temperature sensor. The heating has been stopped because the hot water temperature was not increasing as expected. The temperature sensor may have become detached from the hot water tank.

    See my above suggestion about moving the sensor up towards the top of the tank, this does work!

    Thanks John, it is at the top of the tank already, I believe they put it on the pipe as the tank has a jacket and they weren't prepared to cut out a section to attach the sensor to it. It is now also saying the battery is very low and there is no wi-fi signal? This was only installed Friday

    OWL resolved mine with a firmware upgrade to the tank sensor and you also need to check that the wire from the temperature sensor is firmly connected to the baseplate in the tank sensor.

    I have been having problems on and off with tank sensor but I do not know what it is so that I can move it??? Please please HELP!!!!

    Hi 

     

    I am getting a zero temp on my hot water , I have put new batteries in the TBTE3H and yet I get the battery showing completely flat and a red line by the logo to the right of the battery . 

    If I try to get hot water by selecting more hot water I get the "update to tank sensor pending" message 

    please help
