What happens if I have a power cut or I power the Network OWL down?

You will keep any data collected up to the point of loss of power, but during the outage your Network OWL will not be gathering data. Following power restoration the Network OWL will start collecting data again and upon reconnection to the Internet it will start uploading the collected data to the OWL servers.

Scrap that last point... it's on a mains inverter and the Owl Network uptime won't continue past 24 hours. I've no idea what would cause this.

I have noticed that, if there is a mains failure, then, whilst power usage data IS kept both before and after the cut, subject to an internet connection, the addition of the daily standing charge is lost for that day, making the cost displays wrong. Looks like a bug to me!

There's a serious flaw in this product!
If the Intuition sits on an unreliable power source (brown outs, once a day) then the web management system fails to show any historical usage data.

"What happens if I have a power cut or I power the Network OWL down?" implies that this data is kept, but it isn't.

This is surprising when having looked at the multicast packets, they are date-time stamped.

Despite the obvious potential capabilities of this product, it is currently only effective if run from a mains inverter or UPS.
