My electricity system has 2 x "hot wires" where should I fit the Sensor clamp when I want to monitor 240V?

In North America and elsewhere it is common to have 2 x "hot wires" (labeled L1 and L2) with a) 120V available L1 to Neutral, b) 120V available L2 to Neutral and c) 240V available L1 to L2.

If you wish to use an OWL electricity Transmitter to monitor the 240V system then you need a Sensor clamp to be fitted to both the L1 and L2 cables. The OWL Display / Intuition system should be configured to 120V for correct energy consumption readings.
