What is the sampling period of the Intuition electricity monitors

The transmitter samples in approximately  12 second intervals, however it will not always transmit back every-time, particularly if consecutive readings are the same or extremely  similar. this action preserves and extends the battery life of the transmitter 

Please note the sampling period is an inbuilt function that cannot be changed.
